Get to know me!

I’m a full-stack developer at Hōmbaez, a fintech and proptech company, where I build their B2B web app and B2C mobile app. My work focuses on creating tools that help home buyers represent themselves and save money in the process.

I’m the kind of person who dives into big challenges, even when I don’t have all the skills at first. I trust myself to figure it out, learn what’s needed, and make it happen along the way. I thrive in environments where the team is eager to learn and grow together—I truly believe that a rising tide lifts all ships.

I’m a big believer in clear and open communication—if anything, I’d rather over-communicate than leave things unclear. I also really value kind, actionable feedback, as it helps me grow and become the engineer I want to be.

Right now, I’m looking for a remote position while I explore the United States with my cats, boyfriend, and everything we can fit in the back of our RAV4. We’ve spent the last three months in Northern California and are off to Arizona next. Feel free to ask me about our other stops! When I’m not coding, you can find me obsessing over specialty coffee, whipping up comfort meals that’ll put you into a food coma, or hiking to the top of mountain peaks.

Full Stack Developer | July 2024 - Present

Hōmbaez is a real estate platform that enables lenders to purchase exclusive zip codes for advertising, connecting them with homebuyers. I implemented features like real-time messaging, deal tracking, secure document upload, zip code purchasing for advertisement, and profile management. The platform is optimized for performance, with 64.3MB memory usage and a 798 ms API response time.

Hombaez Mobile App

Mobile Developer | July 2024 - Present

I built key features for Hōmbaez, a real estate platform connecting buyers and lenders. This includes Hōmbaez's loan pre-approval document upload with an intuitive interface, achieving 3 MB/s upload speeds, and a real-time messaging feature using scalable Firebase architecture, supporting 200 users with under 100ms latency.

BrewMap connects coffee lovers with detailed, insightful reviews of coffee shops, spotlighting roast profiles, drink styles, and origins. Discover shops through an interactive map, add reviews, and share bean details. Gamify your experience with badges like "Top Reviewer" and "Caffeine Pioneer." Follow friends to explore the shops they’re reviewing and adding, making coffee discovery more engaging and fun!

VitalForm

Vital Form is a custom-built alternative to TrainHeroic, designed for trainers to create and assign workouts to their clients. Clients can log their workouts, track progress, and monitor weights and reps. Both trainers and clients have access to a history of completed workouts for better performance tracking. It has 10 active users per month.

DM Dock

An online app for D&D Game Masters to easily access campaign details during gameplay. This allows them to research new monsters and save them to favorites. They are also able to save data about their players to easily access and change during gameplay.
